About

We want to work closely with our authors, think long-term and find the right publisher for everyone. That’s what it’s all about for us! The rest is – as is so often the case – a matter of negotiation.

Copywrite is a literary and film agency specializing in literary fiction, upmarket fiction, suspense, and non-fiction. We are always on the lookout for authors who have their own voice and something to say, while we also think one step ahead in the direction of film adaptation.

We invest a lot of time, knowledge, heart and soul into the exchange with the authors we represent, we’re close and present when new ideas and books emerge and we’re dedicated to finding the best path forward for everyone. At Copywrite we are interested in quality over quantity. That’s why we work with fewer rather than more authors, but therefore all the more intensively.

Copywrite was founded in 1999 by Georg Simader and has been managed by Felix Rudloff since 2021. We represent over 80 German speaking authors and employ three agents and one office manager.
